Meet Angie McLeod...

  • Lead Conversation Starter & Facilitator

  • Non-Profit Strategist & Mentor

  • Community Economic Developer

  • International Association of Public Participation (Level 1 practitioner)

  • Conversational Intelligence - Enhanced Skills Practitioner

I’m Angie McLeod, founder of HIP Strategic Non-Profit Consulting, where for over 20 years I’ve partnered with non-profits across BC to design strategies that stick. My passion is helping boards and leaders move from talk > action > accountability > results so they can thrive on their own terms.

💡 What I bring:

  • Strategic planning that’s practical, high-impact, and future-focused

  • Board governance training that builds clarity, confidence, and capacity

  • Social enterprise and revenue diversification strategies

  • Stakeholder and community engagement that sparks real collaboration

Clients describe me as resourceful, straightforward, and deeply invested in their success. Many return year after year—not just for planning sessions, but also for ongoing facilitation, leadership coaching, and project development.

🌱 Beyond consulting, I’m an active volunteer and community-builder, with past leadership roles in Toastmasters, the Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows Arts Council, and United Way’s Board Development Program.

Outside of work, you’ll find me kayaking, hiking, or exploring BC’s coast with my family and our dog Cona. I believe in the importance of lifelong learning, the power of positivity, and helping others unlock their full potential.

✨ Let’s connect if you’re a non-profit leader ready to strengthen your board, sharpen your strategy, and create lasting impact.
