As a home-based entrepreneur, Angie enjoys the flexibility that enables her to balance work, pleasure, and family time. As part of the "sandwich" generation, Angie (and her husband) are kept busy helping their two children and helping out Angie's parents when required.

 

An active community member, Angie has participated in a wide range of volunteer activities from supporting her children's sporting / fundraising activities, to taking part in the School Parent Advisory Council (Past President), to helping coordinate Chinese New Year's Festivities and Neighbourhood Easter Egg Hunts, and twice annual plant swaps with garden enthusiasts.  

 

Angie's past volunteer roles have included being president of Positively Speaking Toastmasters, executive board member for the Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows Arts Council, volunteer instructor with the United Way of the Fraser Valley Board Basics and Leadership Development Program, and three-time participant in the BC Lung Association's Bicycle Trek for Life and Breathe (a 200 km road ride from Surrey to Cultus Lake, BC).

 

Angie enjoys spending time with her children and husband, walking her dog (Cona), and working out with her friends while exploring all that BC has to offer. When she's not in the office, you'll find her at the local dog park, out hiking the local trails or enjoying a day on the water in the family's 20' boat or her kayak. Angie enjoys reading, chatting with friends, and just hanging out in her backyard hammock. She challenges herself to learn one new thing each day and to always look on the positive side of things.
