Knowing how to share the stories that reflect your programs and services' impact on your clientele is an excellent marketing, grant writing, fundraising, and community engagement strategy. Yet, as non-profit leaders, we rarely invest time to capture the stories of those we have helped.
This worksheet provides a framework for non-profit leaders to dig into what matters and find the nuggets that need to be shared to showcase how vital and impactful your organization's daily work is. Share this tool with your team and ask them to use it when speaking to clients about the program or service's impact on their lives. Then, pass the sheet off to your best storyteller and ask them to craft an impact statement that captures what your organization does and the difference you make in the lives of those you serve.
With these stories captured, share them with pride with your stakeholders, funders, community partners, sponsors, and the community. It is these stories that showcase the importance of the work that you are doing.
