While the standard recipe for marketing success still relies on the 4 P’s, new ingredients can be used to spice up the mix to reflect the core social and economic principles that guide these enterprises. Train the Trainers: Volunteer Leadership Development Services

Volunteer Leadership Development Services is special program offered by United Way's across Canada , strengthening the capacity not-for-profit of governance volunteers and staff in their roles and responsibilities. The program is based on the Board Basics® curriculum of topics, ranging from board governance, financial management, strategic planning, public relations and advocacy, program evaluation, and resource development.

In this three-day institute volunteers will learn and put into practice the theory and applications of adult education, workshop design and delivery, facilitation techniques, and some foundational content of the Board Basics® program.

Participants who successfully complete the VLDS Train the Trainers Institute will receive a certificate of completion, and an invitation to join the 2005/2006 United Way of the Fraser Valley Leadership Development Team of Volunteer Trainers.
